100 Global Speakers Convene For 1st Global Space Tech Summit In Silicon Valley

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 100 Global Speakers Convene For 1st Global Space Tech Summit In Silicon Valley

January 23, 2018- [Silicon Valley, USA] To accelerate the commercialization of space, Draper University Global Startup Ecosystem and LightSpeed Innovations partnered to host the first annual Space Tech Summit on January 23-24, 2018 at Hero City-55 E 3rd Ave, San Mateo, CA 94401.  The Space Tech Summit brings together hundreds of entrepreneurs, pioneers, and creatives under one roof to address humanity’s greatest challenges via space technology. The summit also serves to bring key stakeholders that will accelerate bringing both the exploration and the expansion of space to mainstream audiences.

Today there are over 88+ annual conferences for space experts and potential enthusiasts. Yet as space becomes a more relevant part of our future reality- the ecosystem continues to gather only space experts, astronauts and researchers. Space Tech Summit asks- what happens to the creatives, entrepreneurs, authors, actors, athletes and other ecosystem builders of society?

Over 100 global speakers will convene in Silicon Valley from Google, NASA, SpaceX, and more. Over 40+ media representatives from Space News, Forbes, Bloomberg, Wired Magazine, Tech Crunch and more will also be in attendance. These top billionaires, celebrities and government officials will gather to discuss how we can revive the global space race and accelerate commercialization and impact by leveraging artificial intelligence, virtual reality, drones, robotics, nano tech, and other exponential technologies.

“It is important for everyone to be aware that space is not just the domain of the ‘Einsteins’, physicists, astronauts, researchers, scientists, developers and the like – but it is also an arena for entrepreneurs, artists, poets, dancers, entertainers, athletes, celebrities and even people who are unsure of their calling. The innovation of the Apollo era came about due to President Kennedy’s mantra to the people of his nation that “we chose to go to the Moon, not because it is easy, but because it is hard “. The simplicity and scope of that statement rallied individuals of every age, gender, and cultural creed to join the space movement”-Einstein Ntim (Space Tech Summit Co-Chair).

The event can be live streamed or viewed via our social media accounts on twitter and facebook.
