
Bruce Cahan
Bruce Cahan is a Lecturer at Stanford University’s School of Engineering, a member of Stanford’s Center for Financial and Risk Analytics, a Distinguished Scholar at Stanford’s mediaX, and an active participant in Stanford’s Center for Legal Informatics (CodeX).
Bruce co-founded Stanford’s Sustainable Banking Initiative, and has researched, written and is designing innovative space finance, commodities market mechanisms and risk analytics tools. Bruce is creating the Space Commodities Futures Trading Exchange in the current cohort of the LightSpeed Accelerator.
Bruce Cahan has advised Fortune 1000 corporations and federal technology investors, negotiated billions in finance, merger and reorganization transactions, innovated investment strategies for sharing smarter open data, and redesigns banking, its impacts and safety.
